Endodontic treatments

Relieve pain. Preserve your tooth.

Endodontic treatment addresses inflammation or infection inside a tooth. Our specialists diagnose the source and recommend the most appropriate path forward.

Understanding treatment

What is root canal therapy?

Inside each tooth root is a canal containing pulp: nerves, blood vessels, and soft tissue. Root canal treatment may be needed when this pulp becomes inflamed or infected.

To preserve the tooth, the diseased pulpal tissue is removed and the inside of the tooth is carefully treated.

01

Root canal therapy

Preserve an inflamed or infected tooth.

Root canal therapy removes diseased pulp tissue from inside a tooth, helping address infection and discomfort while allowing the natural tooth to remain in place.

02

Endodontic retreatment

Give a treated tooth another chance to heal.

A tooth that does not heal as expected can often be maintained with a second endodontic treatment.

03

Root end surgery

Address persistent concerns at the root.

Root end surgery may help save a tooth that remains painful or diseased after root canal treatment.
